Terralta carries a variety of solar equipment for both solar electric and solar heating applications.

Apricus solar collectors can readily convert 60-70% of sunlight into useable heat.  Due to the round tubular shape, Apricus Evacuated Tubes passively track the sunthroughout the day.  This is very different to flat plate panels which only face the sun at midday.  By tracking the sun from early morning to late afternoon, Apricus Solar Collectors provide more heat for longer each day, which means more hot water!

Let the sun heat your pool.Techno-Solis unglazed panels have easily surpassed all quality and performance standards set by The Solar Rating and Certification Corporation and the National Test Facility. Techno-Solis has consistently rated at the top by independent testing agencies for almost 3 decades. Solar Pool Heaters produce “clean”solar energy, and do not pollute the environment as many conventional heating sources do. Techno-Solis uses the same high quality polypropylene throughout the entire panel, which eliminates weak spots caused by expansions and contraction during temperature changes, an important feature, particularly in North America .

Terralta Pool Heating

Black plastic panels capture the energy from the sun and use it to heat the water in your pool. Using the pump from your filtration system, water is circulated through the solar panels where it is heated and then returned to the pool. The system is designed to work with your existing pump, which need not necessarily be situated near the solar panels.

Terralta Solar Panels

Conergy’s Photo Voltaic (PV) panels are a solar-electric system’s defining component, where sunlight is used to make direct current (DC) electricity.  Behind a PV panel’s shimmering facade, wafers of semiconductor material work their magic, using light (photons) to generate electricity - what’s known as the photovoltaic effect.  Other components in your system enable the electricity from your solar-electric panels to safely power your electric loads like lights, computers and refrigerators.  PV panels are assigned a rating in watts based on the maximum power they can produce under ideal sun and temperature conditions.  You can use the rated output to help determine how many panels you’ll need to meet your electrical needs.  Multiple modules combined together are called an array.  Solar Panels can withstand severe weather, including extreme heat, cold and hail stones.
